In Voronezh at the Interfax Information Agency a press conference of the Bank of Moscow took place under the heading of the "Strategy of developing the presence of the Bank of Moscow in Voronezh Region. The official introduction of the new management of the Bank of Moscow in Voronezh".

The press conference was attended by Miguel Markaryants, Director of the Retail Sales Department of the Bank of Moscow, Maxim Kokorin, Vice-President of the Corporate Sales Management Department of the Bank of Moscow and Dmitry Klepov, a new Head of the Bank’s Voronezh branch, was introduced.

According to the Bank’s top managers, cooperation with the VTB Group has a significant synergetic effect: VTB has brought the best practice and new technologies to the Bank’s work which will help the Bank of Moscow decide its priority tasks including among all the high speed growth of profitable transactions and the attraction of resources, the introduction of best practices in the sphere of sales and a higher efficiency of the business processes and the network.

"In the work of the Bank of Moscow as a member of the VTB Group the focus is made on development in the segment of small and medium size businesses: a special sale model is being introduced, the Bank’s products are offered with due regard for the needs of the regional enterprises," noted Maxim Kokorin.

"Today one of the key tasks of the retail business of the Bank of Moscow is a radical increase in the quality of the services provided to our clients," Miguel Markaryants stressed out. "Now we are starting a systematic work aimed at raising the quality of services. A pilot programme has been launched for the network employees to train them in sales and client-oriented services. We would like to make the Bank client-friendly and open, a pleasure-to-drop in bank".

Talking about the 2012 plans Miguel Markaryants said that in Q3 of 2012 the Bank plans the issue of a new line of credit cards and a launch of a new voluntary insurance programme for cash loan borrowers and a card holder insurance programme. In Q2 and 3 of 2012 the Bank also plans to actively develop deposits and saving products thanks to which the expected rate of attracting funds will, in Mr. Markaryants’ opinion, amount to 11.5% by the end of 2012.

Maxim Kokorin spoke about the task of an active growth in the small and medium size business segment with an accent on expanding the share of medium size clients, i.e. increasing the SME credit portfolio by more than twice, the client resource base by 1.5 times and doubling the client base in this segment.

"To hit this target the Bank of Moscow has introduced a number of tools, in other words SME crediting programmes. Potential borrowers have an opportunity to obtain financing practically for all business needs: working capital replenishment, cash shortage coverage, investments. We offer a wide range of credit products: different kinds of credit lines, third party bank guarantees, LCs".

Closing the press conference Dmitry Klepov, talking about the strategy of developing the Bank’s presence in Voronezh Region, noted that the branch will develop within the framework of the Bank’s general concept in accordance with the general purposes and tasks.

"Now I am facing the task of forming, within the shortest time possible, a business-oriented team and making the branch a leader in Voronezh area along all the line of development of the Bank of Moscow," said the head of the Voronezh branch.

The Voronezh branch of the Bank of Moscow was opened in December 2002. The branch network includes the Tambov operational office. There are 8 ATM terminals in Voronezh and 1 ATM terminal in Tambov.
