OREANDA-NEWS. May 22, 2012. In mid-April at the meeting of the project committee of OJSC "MC" United Engine Building Corporation", held under the chairmanship of Andrey Reus, OJSC "UIC "Oboronprom" CEO, a presentation of two of five perspective projects, comprising the program "Strategy-2020" was performed. These were "Creation of assembly-testing complex" and "Reorganization of repair production" projects. Within the period till 2016 the realization of these projects assumes, along with federal target program funding, attracting investments to the extent of 2.7 bln rubles, from which more than 900 mln rubles should be acquired in 2012.    

Realization of these projects has a top-priority meaning for the progress of "Perm Engine Company", for it should give the enterprise an opportunity to produce at least 200 PS-90A aircraft engines of the 4th generation and 100 PD-14 engines of the 5th generation up to 2019, and also repair of the same quantity of units and gas turbine plants at their base. Moreover the time of repair of each motor should be reduced to 112 days up to 2013. 

Today an active work is done at "Perm Engine Company" to determine strategic partners for realization of these large-scale projects. OJSC "NOTA-Bank" is now being considered as one of them. At the moment a contract between OJSC "Perm Engine Company' and OJSC "NOTA-Bank" has been signed, presuming credit amount of 600 mln rubles  for a term of 2 years. Also various versions of extension of this cooperation are being discussed in the long run, in particular, the aspects concerning realization of joint investment programs.

- The achievement of the target values of "Srtategy-2020" program will return "Perm Engine Company" the status of the largest Russian batch manufacturer of aircraft engines for civil aviation and industry application. We will be able to realize our plans to the full extent only upon condition of the tight partnership with the state and banks.  Mastering of production and launching of a technically sophisticated innovative product, such as our gas turbine engine of the 5th generation, in which production dozens of enterprises and hundreds of thousands of people are engaged - is a momentous event not just for a separate company, but also for the industry, region and the country as a whole. Thus we consider the negotiations conducted as an important stage of cooperative work, which will bring positive results for each participating party.
