Sea Port of St. Petersburg Transferred RUB 66 mln for Infrastructure
OREANDA-NEWS. May 21, 2012. In the I quarter of 2012 JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” transferred about 66 mln. rubles for the development of port infrastructure.
Main part of funds was transferred for lease payments for handling equipment purchased earlier within the programme on renewal of handling equipment.
Modernization of heat supply system of the port has been continued. At the present time after connection of heat supply network to network of State Unitary Enterprise “Fuel and Power Complex of SPb” commissioning works on heat supply network are being carried out.
It is planned to transfer 380 mln. rubles for the modernization and technical re-equipment of the company till the end of the year.

It operates by modern specialized terminals for handling of container, reefer, ro-ro cargoes, cars and metals. In 2011 the turnover of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” amounted to 7.4 mln. tons of cargoes.
