OREANDA-NEWS. May 21, 2012. Ural Airlines have extended onboard payment limit with one bank card. Now the Airline's passengers may buy onboard flight certificates to destinations serviced by the carrier to the total amount of 16,000 rubles. Payment limits for goods and Aeroexpress tickets stay unchanged at 1,500 rubles.

Ural Airlines together with the Ural Bank of Sberbank of Russia were among the first air carriers to offer this unique service of onboard plastic card payment capability. Currently all Ural Airlines flights are equipped with the electronic POS terminals accepting Visa and Master Card bank payments. In order to make payment the passenger must give to a flight attendant his/her bank card, ID document and boarding pass.

Ural Airlines is one of the top 10 Russian airlines. In 2011, more than 2,500,00 passengers used the airline's services. The geography of the airline's flights expands year by year, with a total of 120 destinations by now. The basis of the Ural Airlines fleet is the modern and comfortable European Airbus aircraft. As of today, the air carrier operates 24 imported aircraft (15 A320's and 9 A321's).
