OREANDA-NEWS. May 21, 2012. On May 15, 2012 the heating season in Krasnoyarsk came to an end. JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” (part of LLC “Siberian Generating Company” group of companies) summed up the results of operation during 2011 / 2012 heating season.

The heating season was of medium duration, having lasted from September 15, 2011 to May 15, 2012. The average ambient air temperature during 2011 / 2012 autumn-winter period made -7.94oC, the long-term average annual equal to -10.5oC.

During the heating season “Yenisei TGC” production enterprises located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia generated 8,970 mln kWh of electric energy. This is somewhat below the level of the previous 2010 / 2011 heating season. At the same time, the output volume of the energy producer enterprises located in Krasnoyarsk increased to be 102% of the previous year performance. The increase of electric energy output in Krasnoyarsk is due to Krasnoyarsk CHP-3 Unit No. 1 having been put in industrial operation on March 1, 2012.

Thermal energy supply made 11,690 thousand Gcal (97.4% of the previous year performance). The reduction of thermal energy supply is due to the average ambient air temperature in 2011 / 2012 heating season having been lower as compared to the previous heating period.

Another cause of thermal energy supply reduction is installation of accounting meters by consumers. During 2011 / 2012 heating season 286 shared (house-level) accounting meters were installed. This resulted in reduction of useful supply with the houses where such meters were installed by 18,868 Gcal or 15%, as compared to the previous heating period.

During the heating period the company’s thermal stations consumed 3.638 mln tons of coal. Fuel oil expenditure made 10.312 thousand tons.

The most significant positive event of the recent heating period is putting Power Unit No. 1 of Krasnoyarsk CHP-3 branch of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” in industrial operation which ensured an additional margin of thermal capacity for the city.

During the heating period all JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” enterprises in all the cities where the company carry out their activities worked in a reliable way ensuring uninterrupted consumer electric power supply. Major heating network blasts were avoided. The trunk networks functioned in a reliable way. Blasts within submain networks were eliminated within a tightest timeframe possible and failed to cause lengthy disconnections of consumers. The number of requests for performance of scheduled and emergency repairs of the heating network remained at the previous year level.

According to Executive Director of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” Yevgeny Zhadovets, “one can with certainty acknowledge stabilization of the situation. The company’s heating networks still require special attention. Their wear rate is high and it would be premature to speak of a qualitative breakthrough. At the same time, thanks to consistent implementation of the technical policy, the company has succeeded in essentially improving the heating networks condition. This results in stable proceeding of heating seasons since 2009 both in Krasnoyarsk and other cities included into our responsibility zone where we carry out our activities”.
