OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2012. Taigang Stainless Steel plans to produce 8.68 million tons of pig iron, 10.84 million tons of steel (3.10 million tons of crude stainless steel) and 10.24 million tons of billet and steel products (three million tons of stainless steel) in 2012.

The company will launch a bright annealing stainless steel line of 130,000 tons per year in June and put into operation a cold rolling stainless project in September 2013. The Lvliang Iron Mine will start a test run this May. The project has a designed iron concentrates capacity of 7.42 million tons per year.

Taigang Stainless will be striving to double its operating revenue to 200 billion yuan in 2014, the 80th anniversary of the companyбпs founding, after reaping more than 100 billion yuan for five consecutive years.
