OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2012. The Shandong government recently convened a meeting discussing the trial program of restructuring in the steel industry across the province.

Three points of requirements were raised in the meeting as follows:

First, the local authorities should feel a greater sense of urgency and responsibility for accelerating construction on the Rizhao Quality Steel Base;

Second, relevant departments should speed up approval procedure for this project;

Finally, the government should make overall plans for coordinating all aspects of work related to the restructuring program.
