Occidental Petroleum Names Vice President, Corporate Communications
OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2012. Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:OXY) announced that Melissa E. Schoeb has been named Vice President, Corporate Communications, reported the press-centre of Occidental Petroleum.
Ms. Schoeb, 43, has led Occidental’s communications function since July 2011, with responsibility for directing corporate communications for the company and its worldwide operations. She joined Occidental in 2007 as Senior Director of Corporate Communications. Previously, she was a Senior Vice President, Senior Partner and General Manager at Fleishman-Hillard, Inc.
Ms. Schoeb holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
