OREANDA-NEWS. May 17, 2012. As a result of online-voting which ended on May, 10 at portal of the newspaper "Delo" President of "Concern Galnaftogaz" Vitaliy Antonov has the third place in the rank "responsible leader".

"The situation on which management gurus in the world pay attention brought us the idea of ??the project – note the initiators of online-voting. – Models of Leadership, designed for more traditional and stable periods, have lost their relevance. One of the most acute problems of modern business – lack of responsible leadership, and it was confirmed by the events of recent years in the corporate sphere. "As part of "Responsible Leadership" project during March and April on portal "Delo" there were published 10 interviews with senior managers of successful companies in Ukraine where they expressed their views on this issue. After that portal visitors of "Delo" were asked to select from among top managers whom they consider to be responsible leader.

In his interview with "Delo" President of "Concern Galnaftogaz" Vitaliy Antonov suggested that today to be the best in business means not only to do your job, but also share your problems and values with the public. "In an open society and a free market leadership – it is always the responsibility – he says. –Today we see the willingness and desire of business to tackle the complex social projects. The more positive examples of responsible business, the more it will multiplicate on society. Implementing social projects by ourselves, we urge others to do the same. As a result of accumulating a critical mass that will lead us to improving of our society".
