OREANDA-NEWS.  May 17, 2012. An enterprise on production of high-voltage cables with fibrous polyethylene cover will be launched at Navoi free industrial and economic zone by the end of 2012.

UzA reported that the project is implemented by the Uzbek-Chinese joint venture Uzkabel in cooperation with Maylifer (Finland) and Purtie (Belgium).

The project is used to use effectively created conditions for businesses in Uzbekistan and produce high quality products, as well as increase exports volume.

Uzkabel also implements project on production of yellow iron pigment in cooperation with Qoqon Superfosfat. Currently, the equipment is installed at the enterprise.

The venture also invests US million to organization of production of comminuted marble in Kitib district of Kashkadayra region.

Uzkabel was founded in 2005 and it produces cable and construction materials. In 2011, it produced goods for 240 billion soums and income made up 11 billion soums.
