Danske Bank Group to Make Bank Names Uniform
OREANDA-NEWS. May 17, 2012. Danske Bank Group has announced that a new organisational structure for the entire group will be introduced in June. The organisational structure and team of managers in Lithuania will not change, reported the press-centre of Danske Bankas.
In addition to the major reorganisation of the group, all banks of the group will make their names uniform and will be called Danske Bank. The structure of banking operations and management in the Baltic States will not change.
"Thanks to the reorganisation of our resources and making the names of branches uniform, we will ensure the provision of the best solutions to customers. We will be able to develop and sell new services within the organisation quicker. Our primary goal is to offer some new experience to customers and to promote trust in our bank throughout the entire market", Eivind Kolding, chairman of the board of Danske Bank Group, said.
"This step is a reinforcement of the unity of our objectives, values and culture. This will enable us to continue our pursuit for excellent results and to remain an integral part of a strong group. This change will also open more opportunities for customers no matter what country they are in", Gintautas Galvanauskas, general manager of Danske Bankas, said.
After the completion of the rebranding of all the branches of the Danske Bank Group, which operates in 15 countries, bank names such as Fokus, Sampo, National Irish, and Northern will no longer be used. Branches in all countries will bear the same name – Danske Bank.
The Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian branches will be rebranded by the end of this year.
