Shell, Chevron Will Extract Gas on Yuzovsky & Olesky Sites
OREANDA-NEWS. May 16, 2012. The competitions winners for the development and extraction of hydrocarbons in Yuzovsky and Olesky gas field sites have been become Shell and Shevron companies. This was stated by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov in an interview to Euronews TV channel.
"A Government session was held, at which have been approved the competition results to develop Yuzovsky and Olesky sites having huge gas reserves. They will be developed by two companies: Chevron and Royal Dutch Shell," said Mykola Azarov.
For reference. Forecasted gas field resources of Yuzovsky site (Kharkiv and Donetsk regions) are estimated at 4.054 trillion cube meters of gas. At the stage of geological exploration it is planned to attract investments at least of 1.6 billion UAH and 30 billion UAH - at the stage of industrial development.
Forecasted gas field resources of Olesky site (Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions) - 2, 98 trillion cube meters of gas. At the stage of geological exploration it is planned to attract investments of 1.3 billion UAH and 25 billion UAH at the stage of industrial development.
