OREANDA-NEWS. May 16, 2012. As a result of audits of State Financial Inspection of Ukraine at the beginning of May this year it is made recalculation of value of not actually provided and are not in full provided of housing and communal services and have been returned about 7 million to the citizens.

As it was informed, following the Cabinet of Ministers’ instructions to control observance of the law by local self governments when making decisions about raising tariffs for housing and communal services, the State Financial Inspection of Ukraine carries the relevant work since the beginning of the year.

As a result of revisions there have been suspended decisions on raising tariffs for services on maintenance of buildings and adjacent areas in the Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, Donetsk regions, in the cities of Sumy, Chernihiv. In Alushta, Kerch, Odessa, Rivne, and in several cities in the Zaporizhzhia, Mykolayiv and Kharkiv regions, city councils have reduced tariffs approved by them in 2011 and January 2012, and in Poltava and Berdyansk – have abolished.
