According to the published balance sheet of NBM, as of December, 31, its balance-sheet total was 27 bln. 927,36 mln. leis, 5,7% up as compared with the indicator of the last year. Cash in circulation increased 8,2% to 12 bln. 016,67 mln. leis. Governmental means (cash in disposal) made up 1 bln. 963,6 mln. leis as of December, 31, 2011, 40,8% down as compared with the indicator of the past year.

Means of banks increased 1,7 times to 5 bln. 139,7 mln. leis. The capital stock of NVBM stayed unchanged at 288 mln. 923 thou. leis. According to the balance sheet, in 2011 as compared with 2010, cash and short-term placements in banks decreased 3,2% to 7 bln. 701,1 mln. leis. The volume of investment securities increased 18,5% to 15 bln. 308,9 mln. leis.

Claims of NBM to international financial organizations declined 3,6 to 2 bln. 310,2 mln. leis. Long-term tangible assets of the Bank grew 0,2% to 18 mln. 763 thou. leis, whereas intangible assets increased threefold to 9 mln. 718 thou. leis, with other assets increasing 7,7% to 4 mln. 281 thou. leis.
