OREANDA-NEWS. May 15, 2012. The Danske Bank Group announces a new organisational set-up that will take effect on 1 June 2012, reported the press-centre of Danske Bank.

For the Group’s banking operations in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, this means that they will operate under a new name, because the Danske Bank Group will market all its banking operations under the Danske Bank brand name. The rebranding process will be completed by the end of 2012.

Customers will see a more customer-focused bank:

“We pool our resources under one name and focus on delivering the best solutions to our customers across markets,” says Eivind Kolding, Chairman of the Executive Board of Danske Bank. “We will be more agile and able to develop and market new products faster across the organisation. The overall goal is to deliver unsurpassed customer experiences and build a strong brand with customer appeal in all our markets.”

The use of a single trademark will reinforce our position on the banking market and give our clients a clear signal that all the resources and solutions of the Danske Bank Group are at the disposal of our clients," Aivar Rehe, the CEO of Sampo Pank, added.

The organisation and management of the banking operations in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania will not change. In Estonia the bank will continue with its current business model, operating as a universal bank and focusing, above all, on corporate banking.
