OREANDA-NEWS. May 15, 2012. In March and April, the Bai-Tushum and Partners Company held first trainings for its clients on financial literacy titled "Plan Your Future”. The trainings were conducted by the company’s officers, who received a special training under the Microfinance Centre Program (MFC, Poland). The training program was customized for the needs of low income families and included economic education, development of entrepreneurial skills and culture of savings, reported the press-centre of IBC.
More than 40 people attended the group training sessions. The main goal was to focus the customers’ attention on the effective management of family budget and on the importance of financial planning. The training was provided in the form of workshops, during which the participants had an opportunity to take the first steps towards rational planning the family budget and the balanced approach to borrowing.
Throughout the sessions, the trainers paid special attention to the development of skills for managing income and expenditures, setting financial goals and developing financial plan, identifying methods and opportunities for savings and reasonable borrowing. The Bai Tushum and Partners Company plans to conduct such trainings at each branch office.
Ms. Divazova, client of the Bishkek Branch Office, said: "At first, when I was invited to the seminar, I did not quite understand what I could learn there. The most interesting discovery for me was that anyone can save funds and achieve the goals if they are properly identified."
