The issues of professional residential building management will be discussed in Astana on 15 May 2012 – a National Conference on professional residential buildings management will be held with support of UNDP\GEF Project on EE and with participation of Mazhilis Deputies, state officials, Heads of managing and servicing companies.   

This Conference is aimed to contribute in creation of an effective multi-apartment owner, to develop a market of managing and servicing companies in Kazakhstan for promotion of Housing Infrastructure Reforms and energy saving.

One of priority objectives under the Housing Infrastructure Modernization Program for 2011-2020 is a renovation of housing fund of the country through thermal modernization of multi-apartments. This event is playing an important role in promotion of energy efficiency and resources saving in the field of housing infrastructure.

The successful renovation of multi-apartment with thermal modernization elements is requiring a qualitative performance of contractual works provided by the servicing companies, a professional management by the managing companies and an active involvement by the dwellers.

Thus, the development of professional market of servicing and managing companies in Kazakhstan is rendering a special touch in reforming the housing infrastructure on management, maintenance and renovation issues in the multi-apartments.

The best practices of the UNDP\GEF Project will be presented at the Conference considering the results of pilot projects on energy efficiency in housing sector.
