OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2012. In Hanoi (Socialist Republic of Vietnam) an ordinary general assembly meeting of the participants of the Joint Company “RUSVIETPETRO” LLC took place.

The heads of “Zarubezhneft” JSC and “Petrovietnam” National Oil & Gas Group - Nikolay Brunich and Do Van Hau, as well as top-managers of the companies took part in the work of the meeting. Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in SRV Andrey Kovtun was present as an invitee.

Joint Company was represented by General Director of “JC “RUSVIETPETRO” LLC Victor Ambaev, First Deputy General Director Cao My Loi and Chief Accountant L.A. Krestyanova.

Victor Ambaev and Cao My Loi made summary reports on results of JC’s activity in the year 2011. In his speech, Victor Ambaev noted that “the main results of the work of the company for the past year became the commencement of the commercial oil production from Visovoye field since July 29, 2011 and production of one millionth ton of oil from the fields of the Central-Khoreyverskoye Uplift (CKU) on August 4, 2011.”

Despite nonsimple climatic conditions of the Far North, where the works should be performed, JC “RUSVIETPETRO” managed in less than one year since the date of commercial oil production from North-Khosedayuskoye field to prepare for launching the second field and to complete in full the production plan for the year 2011 on oil production in the volume of over 1,5 million tons.

As it was underlined by Victor Ambaev, JC “RUSVIETPETRO” pays a great attention to introduction of the new technologies and carries out a regular work on optimization of the working processes for improving the quality of the oilfield facilities’ operation.

In summer 2012, the company is planning to put into operation the next third field – West-Khosedayuskoye. Cumulative oil production in the year 2012 will exceed 2 million tons.

The participants of the meeting were provided with the conclusion of the audit commission of the Joint Company. At the meeting, the Annual Report and the Annual Accounting Reports of “JC “RUSVIETPETRO” LLC for the year 2011 have been approved.

At the end of the meeting, in a ceremonial atmosphere Minutes of the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the participants of “JC “RUSVIETPETRO” LLC was signed.
