OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2012. In April 2012 on regular flights of Air Moldova airline were transported 39ths. passengers, that is by 18% more in comparing with the similar period of 2011, reported the press-centre of Air Moldova. 

The largest growth of passenger traffic was recorded on direction Chisinau- Paris (+109), Chisinau-London (+69%), Chisinau-Istanbul (+53%), Chisinau-Bucharest (+52%) and Chisinau-St.Petersburg (+38).

More than 700 passengers used in April Air Moldova transfer service from Moscow and Bucharest to Europe, through Chisinau International Airport as a transit HUB. In the period January-April 2012 were transported more than 2000 transfer passengers.

In April 2012, the volume of cargo and mail transported by Air Moldova consisted 134 tons, indicating an increase of 24% in comparing with the similar period of 2011.
