OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2012. Sviaz-Bank has raised the maximum lending limit on nonpurpose consumer loans to employees of the Bank’s partner companies and public service institutions to 3 million rubles from the previous maximum of 1.5 million rubles, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

The interest rate threshold on loans has been lowered to 12.9% per annum in rubles. Loans are made for a maximum period of five years, and the minimum amount that can be borrowed starts at 30,000 rubles.

The Bank charges no commission, such as fees for consideration, follow-up, and issue of loans. No moratorium is put on early loan repayment.

Loans are given on these terms to individuals employed in the Bank’s partner companies and in organizations in social services, health care, military service, and education, and in other federal and municipal public service institutions.

“We keep on improving our lending programs for the benefit of several borrower categories by lowering our requirements and simplifying loan making. We have just doubled the maximum loan amounts for employees of our partner companies and public service organizations, and our customers can now count on greater financial support from the Bank,” said Maria Zenina, Director of Sviaz-Bank’s Retail Banking Products Department.
