OREANDA-NEWS. May 11, 2012. A grand ceremony for the 1st Phase of Cold Rolling Project of Shandong Kerui Steel Plate Co., Ltd., as well as the opening of Jinderui Logistic Park and the newly-built office building, was convened. Upon invitation, President Han Guorui of Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited (CERI) was present at the event and delivered speech, reported the press-centre of CERI.

The 1st Phase of Cold Rolling Project covers the first six-high single-stand reversing cold rolling mill independently developed by CERI, among which two sets of single-stand reversing rolling mills (1450) were manufactured and supplied by the Pilot Test Base of CERI in Yingkou. Four mills have reached up to the most advanced level in terms of equipment technology in China. The smooth commissioning of the equipment symbolizes that CERI has stepped onto a higher rank in supplying capability of large-sized cold rolling devices. This has not only made further enhancement on CERI’s overall supply system of cold rolling equipment, but also consolidated the domestic leading position of CERI in cold rolling technology, and thus is of great significance.

After the ceremony, the guests conducted a visit to the single-stand reversing cold rolling mill unit contracted by CERI on an EPC basis. Deeply impressed by the smooth operation of the production line and the high quality strip steel products, they placed a high premium on the outstanding performance of CERI.
