OREANDA-NEWS. May 11, 2012. This was spoken about at a meeting of State Secretary Victor Bodiu with representatives of Air Patronage Association of Moldova and Director General of Nodic Cargo Metin Temucin.

One Boeing 747 will first be delivered to Moldova to be used for humanitarian purposes of UNO. According to Metin Temucin, his company is planning to consider an opportunity to take part in rehabilitation of one of the two airports, either Balti or Marculesti.

The airport is meant to become a regional cargo hub where technical hangars will be constructed to serve aircrafts according to EAS standards. Most workers of the airport will be the Moldovans specially trained abroad.
