OREANDA-NEWS. May 10, 2012. Allianz Ukraine Insurance Company and Allianz SE signed a new obligatory re-insurance agreement for 2012 covering accident insurance. The limit of re-insurance is one million U.S. dollars.

The agreement applies to direct and incoming facultative risks assumed by Allianz Ukraine Insurance Company. The agreement covers such consequences of an accident as injury, assignment of disability and death.

"Re-insurance is always a tool for providing additional value and guarantees of fulfillment of the insurer's obligations to the customers. Especially when an agreement is signed with one of the leaders of the international re-insurance market - Allianz SE, - stated Denis Kochenkov, Insurance Director at Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. – Obtaining a re-insurance limit of one million U.S. dollars under accident risks will become an extra advantage for two categories of our policy holders. Firstly, for our prosperous customers: businessmen or top managers of big companies. For in case of an accident insurance, the insured sum is usually equivalent to the policy holder's income for several years. Secondly, for bank loan users, when the insured sum is made equivalent to the amount of loan, i.e. may be very substantial, especially in case of mortgage lending".

Earlier this year, Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. and Allianz SE prolonged obligatory re-insurance programs covering property portfolio, liability, sea risk and motor hull insurance.
