OREANDA-NEWS. May 5, 2012. As part of the improving the quality of services at the Tolmachevo Airport the next stage of reconstruction of Internet access over a wireless technology Wi-Fi is finished. Passengers and visitors of the Novosibirsk Airport can use the new service free of charge in all halls and areas inside Domestic and International flight Terminals.

Currently, free Wi-Fi-access is in test mode, and work on setting up of a wireless network is continuing. Full-scale deployment will be completed in June.

The Novosibirsk Airport (Tolmachevo)- the largest air hub east of the Urals located on key transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity on domestic flights is 1,800 passengers per hour, on international flights - 750 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways. According to business plan in 2012 The Tolmachevo Airport plans to serve 3,155 thousand passengers that is 14% higher than in 2011.
