NOMOS-BANK Wins IT-LEADER Russian Prize
OREANDA-NEWS.May 05, 2012. NOMOS-BANK won first prize in the banking category of Russia’s IT-LEADER competition for best computer technologies. The award was received by NOMOS-BANK’s IT Director, Vladimir Ivanov, reported the press-centre of NOMOS-BANK.
“In 2011, NOMOS-BANK completed transition to CFT-Bank, an integrated banking system, and centralization of its IT architecture across its entire regional network,” said Vladimir Ivanov. “This has resulted in reduced costs and the amount of IT support the infrastructure requires. Other important projects of the past year worthy of note are: The automation of both the risk-assessment process and retail loan issuance, which has halved the time required to consider applications, the construction of a single Bank call center, and the creation of a management system for marketing companies using analytical CRM.”
The awards ceremony was held at the Et Cetera Theatre and was attended by representatives of leading Russian and international companies, heads of the Moscow offices of largest IT-solution providers, as well as journalists and business media representatives.
The expert panel of judges selected winners based on their role in dissemination of the latest information technologies that make companies competitive and help to improve living standards throughout society. Credit was also given to innovations that support technological progress, help Russia’s integration with international development processes, and enhance Russia’s status in the international arena.
