OREANDA-NEWS. May 04, 2012. TNK-BP informs that the network of BP service stations has started accepting contactless MasterCard® PayPassТМ payments in Moscow and the Moscow Region, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

Now holders of MasterCard® PayPassТМ and Maestro® PayPassТМ cards can quickly and comfortably pay for fuel, goods and services at BP service stations by simply checking the sum and swiping the card across the reader to confirm the transaction. Payments of up to 1,000 rubles may be made without entering the PIN code.

“We are always trying to offer the latest and handiest technologies to our clients in combination with services of international standards and fuels of highest quality. The PayPass system is yet another step in this direction,” said Amir Feizulin, First Deputy Executive Vice President, Downstream, TNK-BP.

“MasterCard offers more and more contactless payment possibilities, which make performance of everyday tasks easier, faster, and simpler. We are glad that PayPass payments are now accepted at BP service stations in Russia.
