OREANDA-NEWS. May 04, 2012. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) and the Authority of the Primorie Region signed an Agreement, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

On behalf of FAS Russia the Agreement was signed by the Head of FAS Igor Artemyev, on behalf of the Authority of the Primorie Region – the Governor Vladimir Miklushevsky.

The objective of the Agreement is to provide a systemic problem solution: eliminating administrative barriers, protecting competition, creating favourable conditions for effective market performance, as well as observing the antimonopoly law, the law on advertising and the law on procurement of goods, works, and services for state and municipal needs in the field of natural monopolies.

“Such Agreements constitute an excellent basis for further strengthening and developing cooperation in the field of competition policy and move relations to a new level. FAS has already signed similar Agreements with the Governments of Moscow, St Petersburg and the Rostov Region”, emphasized Igor Artemyev.
