Maris Avotins, Chairman of the Board, notes: "Having acquired an imposing and international brand we have fully completed the procedure of replacement of our shareholder that started at the beginning of this year. Having regard to the nature of the bank's operations directed to servicing international corporations, we have selected a recognizable and imposing international name that confirms the affiliation of Expbank to the international market of financial services.

The new brand, Expobank, excellently reflects new directions of the bank's development: Private Banking, corporate finance andrendering of assistance to our clients - residents of the Republic of Latvia in acquisition of new business partners to develop new export channels in CIS and European countries. In the middle of this year clients will be able to evaluate our new online banking system that is developed as a state-of-the-art, convenient and reliable tool for remote use of banking services.”
