OREANDA-NEWS. May 02, 2012. At the enlarged Cabinet session, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has stressed that in Ukraine has been began establishment of modern infrastructure.

"Throughout the country are being built new enterprises, wholesale markets, vegetable stores, greenhouses, modern dairies, livestock facilities, bread-baking plants. A modern infrastructure is being established: airports, aviation and rail terminals, and hotels. It is built a modern transport corridors Kyiv-Yahodyn, Kyiv-Kovel, Kyiv-Hlukhiv ," Prime Minister underlined.

According to Mykola Azarov, the last year in Ukraine was built 2 thousand kilometers of highways of European level; it is modernized 2 thousand kilometers of railway lines. Already in May, Prime Minister noticed, the largest cities in Ukraine will be linked by modern high-speed trains.

However, Mykola Azarov noted that the pace of works should be increased as "the country has 170 thousand kilometers of roads, of which 60 thousand kilometers - the state value."
