ANRE Failed to Complete Calculation of New Tariffs for Electricity
OREANDA-NEWS. May 02, 2012. Director General of the National Energy Regulatory Agency Victor Parlicov stated this in the Parliament on Thursday. Last Friday public debate on new tariffs has been opened.
The new tariffs have been requested from ANRE by three power distributors of Moldova which have purchased electricity at a 13,2% higher price (6,1 to 6,9 cents for kWh) offered by the Moldovan Hydro Power Plant and Ukrainian company DTEK Power Trade since April, 1.
The ultimate tariff for consumer will be approved by the Agency when it makes the decision on establishment of a new power transport tariff for Moldelectrica, which requests to raise it from 6,76 bans to 10,73 bans, Victor Parlicov has reminded.
In his turn, member of Parliament Igor Dodon, who requested the information from the Director General of the National Energy Regulatory Agency, has noted that according to the preliminary calculations made by specialists, tariffs for power for final users served by RED Union Fenosa can grow by 9%, increasing by 13,6% for consumers served by RED-Nord and RED Nord-Vest.
