OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2012. The complex workshop devoted to the MC-21 program’s quality management issues was organized at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant on March 26-28, 2012 by JSC IRKUT Corporation jointly with ZAO Bureau Veritas Sertification Rus.

The workshop’s mission was to give impetus to the development of a unified method of quality management system for existing and potential participants of the MC-21 program.

The event was attended by representatives of the Russian enterprises engaged in the development and manufacture of aviation components which IRKUT Corporation considers as potential suppliers for MC-21 program.

The workshop participants – managers and specialists in the field of quality management considered the following issues:

– Features of AS/EN 9100:2009 Standard as a normative and methodological platform for cooperation in the field of quality management of the MC-21 program;

– A detailed analysis of quality requirements models which meet IRKUT Corporation qualifying standards for the MC-21 program’s suppliers;

– Demonstration of the direct correlation of requirements for the MC-21 program’s suppliers with the level of work organization on this program at the production site of the Corporation.

The content and organizational components of the workshop have been highly appreciated by the participants.

The successful result of the event suggests that the practice of organizing such workshops will be continued and extended to other categories of employees of aviation components enterprises-suppliers.
