OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2012. Zavolzhsky motorny zavod started serial supplies of new range of automotive for Company "Knorr Bremse".

 In accordance with order from "Knorrr Bremse" “ZMZ” realized projects on mastering of technological process on machining of two new types of crankshafts: for compressor of “Avodisel” diesel engines and for compressor of “KAMMINS-KAMA” engine, and also cases of “KAMAZ” compressors.

 Technological processes of machining of three new parts and start of serial production have successfully passed technical validation and approval from the Customer - "Knorr Bremse".Besides forecast production and supply volumes on all range of the components are defined in the whole for 2012 and monthly.

 So in March-April it is planned to supply 1 200 KAMAZ compressor cases and in May to increase supply volumes up to of this part upto 1 800pcs per month. Totally in 2012 ZMZ plans to supply to "Knorr Bremse" 22 K KAMAZ compressor cases.

 Annual plan of crankshafts supplies for Avotodiesel engine compressors amounts to 1 600 pcs. In March-April 200 pcs are supplied.

 Totally in the year it’s planned to supply crankshafts for “KAMMINS-KAMA” project engine in amount of 11 K pcs. Supply volumes for March-April are 2 200 crankshafts.

 Simultaneously ZMZ increases production and supply volumes of crankshafts for KAMAZ vehicle compressors – with this first component cooperation with "Knorr Bremse" had started in 2010 . For 2011 15 500 pcs of these parts have been sold – 2,5 times more than fact of 2010. Plan on 2012 is 26 000 K pcs.
