OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2012.  “Zawolzhsky motorny zawod” and company LEONI agreed about development of new manufacturing on the base of ZMZ industrial site.

 German company LEONI is a leading manufacturer of wires harnesses, cables and optical fiber for automotive industry will become the first resident of industrial park on manufacturing of automotive components which is founded in industrial site of "Zavolzhsky motorny zawod".

New LEONI manufacturing will be located in modernized production building, area of which is equal to 32 thous.sq.m with perspective area for construction in this year up to 50 thousand sq.m. Sale–Purchase Contract on this ZMZ production building was concluded between "Zawolzhsky motorny zawod" and LEONI. Andrey Matushin, manager of engineering department, participated in signing of the contract from site of ZMZ and from site of LEONI general director of Russian manufacturing LEONI - company "Lik Avto" - Klemens Sachs .

During April-June 2012 LEONI plans to transfer completely production of "Lik Avto", which is located in Gorodez region of Nizhniy Novgorod oblast, to Zavolzhje – to ZMZ industrial site territory. Subsequently, thanks to location in modern site, which is completely equipped with whole necessary infrastructure, LEONI will wide its production not only due to volumes but also due to output of new products.

Cooperation with company LEONI is developed in frames of realized project on foundation of large scale industrial park of automotive components on base of ZMZ industrial site.
