Krasnoyarsk Officials Visited Krasnoyarsk CHP-3 1st Power Unit
OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2012. Deputies of the Krasnoyarsk City Council paid a working visit to Krasnoyarsk CHP-3 of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” (part of LLC “Siberian Generating Company” group of companies), reported the press-centre of TGC-13.
The deputies’ delegation consisted of Sergey Litovchik, Vladislav Vychuzhanin and Razim Abasov. During their stay the deputies visited the facilities of Krasnoyarsk CHP-3 new power unit launched into industrial operation on March 1, 2012. Upon examination of the turbine department, the central and the unit control rooms, the deputies took notice of the plant technical equipment and automation level, its scale and appearance.
In the course of a brief business meeting with Executive Director of Yenisei TGC Yevgeny Zhadovets and Director of Krasnoyarsk CHP-3 Andrey Yevdokimov, the deputies discussed the new opportunities for development of the Krasnoyarsk city economy and social sphere opened by the power unit commissioning. Those are, in the first place, additional volumes of thermal and electric energy for industrial enterprises and the housing sector, new jobs creation, additional allocations to the city and the territorial budgets, improvement of environmental conditions in the territory administrative centre.
The deputies highly appreciated the implementation results of the investment project ranking among the largest ones regionally.
“Power industry is the main condition of the city building development. I would like to thank Yenisei TGC in the person of its managers for having commissioned such a large-scale power unit that will allow to ensure reliable power supply for the city. Its commissioning has created an opportunity for business development. During the next 5-10 years Krasnoyarsk constructors and business community will face no obstacles in their activities. When power industry specialists build new power supply facilities and constructors take up the initiative and erect new houses and neighbourhoods, the city as a whole develops,” emphasized the deputy of the City Council, Chairman of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Union of Constructors Razim Abasov.
The deputies and the power industry company managers also discussed progress in implementation of the city investment program for development of the city heating networks. The investment program was approved of by the Krasnoyarsk City Council of Deputies in 2007. Out of the developers’ funds raised in the course of the program implementation one has constructed a whole complex of facilities, updated the existing heating networks and laid new ones. Scheduled for 2012 is the most significant event on the investment program: completion of construction of the pump plant on Posadny Island; through it heat will be transmitted from Krasnoyarsk CHP-2 to the left-bank part of the city (Tsentralny and Oktyabrsky Districts).
Summing up the meeting results, Executive Director of Yenisei TGC Yevgeny Zhadovets noted: “We try to proactively response to public demands, aware of our role in the city complicated infrastructure. The new power unit of Yenisei TGC-3 is rather a large-scale project. By its successful implementation we have proved our capability to build modern power industry. Now the company cherishes ambitious prospective plans for development of both the generating and the heating network complex.”
“Siberian Generating Company” group including JSC “Kuzbassenergo” (TGC-12) and JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” is engaged in production and sales of electric and thermal energy, additionally providing for heat supply. The group of companies carry out their activities within the Kemerovo Region, the Altai and Krasnoyarsk Territories and the Republic of Khakassia. In the total generation volume of the integrated power system of Siberia, LLC “SGC” accounts for a portion amounting to approximately 20%. The main fuel is coal. The main end market is the wholesale electric power market. Currently, the company is implementing a large-scale investment program within the framework of power supply contracts, the program cost amounting to approximately 78 bln RUB.
