OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2012. Following 2011 outcome, JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)”(part of LLC “Siberian Generating Company” group of companies), according to data at the disposal of Non-Commercial Partnership “Market Council”, ranks No. 1 in the rating of Russian generating companies in terms of execution of investment programs being implemented within the framework of power supply contracts (PSCs), reported the press-centre of TGC-13.     

Rating “Generating companies: execution of PSC investment programs” was updated as per Q4 2011 data. In the updated rating, JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” ranks as No. 1. The critical ranking having affected the company’s performance was execution of the investment program funding plan. The rating also accounted for such indicators as the portion of capacity gain under PSCs to the installed capacity and to the total volume of capacity under PSCs, occurrence of non-compliances with the deadlines for new power supply into the market.

JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” investment program includes three PSC projects The company’s priority project, construction of the first power unit of Krasnoyarsk CHP-3, was completed within the established deadlines. Since March 01, 2012 the power unit with installed capacity equal to 208 MW was launched into industrial operation. The company has obtained admission for work within the electric energy (power) wholesale market trading system and commenced supplies of attested electric power and energy into the market.

Within the framework of PSCs execution, the company is also proceeding with construction of Abakan CHP new power unit (with rated capacity equal to 120 MW) and technical re-equipment of Nazarovo GRES Power Unit No. 7 (with rated capacity equal to 415 MW).

The first power unit of Krasnoyarsk CHP-3 is the first coal unit commissioned in Russia under power supply contracts (PSCs).

Currently, it is also the largest project having been implemented by “Siberian Generating Company”. All in all, "SGC” plans to deliver 11 more facilities under power supply contracts.

Rating “Generating companies: execution of PSC investment programs” is updated on a quarterly basis in automated information system “Electric energy and power markets” (AIS EEPM) supported by Non-Commercial Partnership “Market Council”. The aim of the rating generation is evaluation and comparison of completeness and timeliness of execution of investment programs under power supply contracts (PSCs) by generating companies.

“Siberian Generating Company” group including JSC “Kuzbassenergo” (TGC-12) and JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” is engaged in production and sales of electric and thermal energy, additionally providing for heat supply. The group of companies carry out their activities within the Kemerovo Region, the Altai and Krasnoyarsk Territories and the Republic of Khakassia. In the total generation volume of the integrated power system of Siberia, LLC “SGC” accounts for a portion amounting to approximately 20%. The main fuel is coal. The main end market is the wholesale electric power market. Currently, the company is implementing a large-scale investment program within the framework of power supply contracts, the program cost amounting to approximately 78 bln RUB.
