OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2012. The Bank’s most popular deposit account products, NOMOS-MAXIMUM and NOMOS-SAVINGS, as well as the special, high-return NOMOS-SPRING GROWTH account can now be opened remotely, without visiting a Bank branch via the NOMOS-Link Internet banking service.
The system also allows full management by customers of their deposits at the Bank, including making of credits and withdrawals if the account conditions permit these operations, reported the press-centre of NOMOS-BANK.

“There is a clear trend on the market today towards the provision of banking products on-line. Previously internet banking at most institutions did not go beyond the supply of information, but functionality is developing quickly. The account opening service via NOMOS-Link is a logical extension of NOMOS-BANK’s strategy to raise service quality and develop our product range in order to address the needs of today’s customers,” said Alexander Bazanov, Director of the Department for Retail Product Design and Support at NOMOS-BANK.

Until May 20 customers of the Bank can take advantage of a special spring offer and open a NOMOS-SPRING GROWTH account offering deposits for a period of three, six or twelve months. The maximum rate of interest is 9.20% in roubles, 4.85% in US dollars and 4.65% in euros for a minimum deposit of RUB 10,000 (USD 400 / 300 euros) with maturity of one year.

NOMOS-MAXIMUM is a classic deposit account, without additional credits or pre-term withdrawals. NOMOS-SAVINGS is designed for customers who prefer to make savings by regular contributions to their account. Monthly interest can be capitalized and a favourable rate is available for early termination of the deposit agreement.

In the future NOMOS plans to expand the range of accounts, which can be opened via NOMOS-Link.

Customers can use NOMOS-Link to obtain information quickly and safely concerning their accounts, bank cards and loans, and also to buy and sell precious metals, issue virtual cards, convert currency and pay for the services of more than 300 companies. The system allows customers to make payments from their accounts at a lower cost than by visiting the branch. Full users of NOMOS-Link can make several fund transfers free of charge every month.

NOMOS-Link is an online service created using the TranzWare Internet Banking platform designed by Compass Plus, a leader on the Russian market for retail banking solutions.
