OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2012. The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine has held a meeting of Yuriy Kolobov, Minister of Finance, and Marcus Cornaro, Neighbourhood Director at the European Commission’s Directorate General EuropeAid.

The meeting has considered a number of important issues related to macro-financial aid to Ukraine and a tool for the sectoral budget support.

Both Ukrainian and European sides have pointed public finance management progress. This is an important aspect of intensifying the dialogue on the programs of the European Commission’s financial support to Ukraine including the macro-financial aid of EUR 610 million.

It is worth saying that the Ministry of Finance makes much of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union.
