OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2012. Chuvash National Museum of Cheboksary city became the venue of Lenta company's management meeting with the local producers

 The event was attended by more than 10 companies of the Chuvash Republic, including confectionery factories "Akkond", "Smak" and "Vavilon", LLC "Shuba," "Cheboksary Bakery" and many others.

 The meeting was opened by Maxim Semenov, Deputy Head of the City’s Administration on Economic Development and Finance: "The policy of the Republic and the city is dedicated to support the local manufacturers."

 "Lenta" company, in each region, is mainly focused on the local suppliers. "Lenta" has already started cooperation with some of the Chuvash providers: "Akkond" company supplies its pastries to 42 hypermarkets of this network, products of "Yadrinmoloko" and "Tsivilsk dairy plant" companies is represented in the stores of Nizhny Novgorod.

 "We hope that, with opening of the hypermarket network in Cheboksary, the number of our partners from Chuvashia will grow. Quality local produce can contemplate on the markets of St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar and other cities where the company’s hypermarkets operate - Kirill Chemykhin, Regional Director, said.

 "Lenta" in Cheboksary is situated in Kalininsky district at intersection of Leninsky Komsomol street and Traktorostroiteley prospect. Opening of the shop is being planned for late June - early July, 2012.

 On 11 and 12 May, Employment Fair will be held in the City Centre for recruitment to the new store network. "Lenta" plans to employ about 300 local residents.
