OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2012. “Lipetskcement”, JSC produced 131.5 thousand tons of cement in the first quarter of 2012. The plant also achieved great results in terms of clinker production, thus 248 thousand tons of clinker have been produced. These results exceeded the production plan and in comparison with the same period of 2011 grew by 10.5%, reported the press-centre of EUROCEMENT.

“Lipetskoe Karierupravlenie”, LLC has started the year with good figures as well. Figures for the extraction of clay remained at the level of last year and are 64 tons. The volume of extraction of limestone increased to 54 tons.

Plan on cement packing in the first three months of the year was exceeded almost twice. In February, 2012 “Lipetskcement”, JSC introduced a new direction for the plant – the packaging of cement in 25 kg bags. This measure allowed making this type of cement more convenient to our consumers.

The total volume of cement shipment from January to March amounted to 130 thousand tons. At the same time, every year such a traditional method of cement shipment as shipment by rail is losing its leading position. Self-delivery of products is gaining popularity among consumers. Thus, the plant shipped 55 thousand tons for the first three months of the year using the self-delivery method, which is 26% more in comparison with last year’s figure for the same period. And the figures of 2012 are 20 thousand tons more in comparison with the shipment results of 2010.
