OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2012. TATNEFT was awarded a diploma "For the contribution to the development of health resort treatment in Russia" at the 17-th International Specialized Exhibition of Sports and Tourism "KITS-2012" held in Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan), reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The organizers of this annual event are the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan City Mayor's Office and "Kazan Fair" Exhibition Center with the support of the Association of Tourist Agencies of the Republic of Tatarstan and enterprises of the RT sports industry.

An extensive business program, which included scientific and practical conferences, seminars and master classes, allowed tourism and sports and hospitality professionals, both Russian and foreign experts to discuss current issues of the industry as well as to evaluate new products and expand business cooperation with partners in the resort and recreation services.

Participation and numerous victories of TATNEFT Company's social facilities in such international, national and regional specialized contests is the natural result of systematic work aimed at improving the health of employees of the Joint Stock Company, preservation of ecology in the south-eastern part of Tatarstan and provision of decent living standards for the region's population.

Today, there are 11 sanatoriums and 13 children's health camps at TATNEFT, where employees and veterans of the Company, their children, as well as the residents of Tatarstan improve their health in a comfortable environment.
