These companies made 76,8% of the insurance market by premiums collected . About 45,9 mln. leis (20,7% of the total amount of premiums) fell to the sector of mandatory motor vehicle liability insurance. At the same time this sector has seen the 3,3% decline in premiums as compared with the like period in 2011.

The Green Card insurance premiums made up 47,3 mln. leis, 12% down as compared with Q1 2011. This segment of the insurance market made up 21,3% of total premiums collected.
