Sviaz-Bank Acts as Agent to Pay Interest on Bonds of Rostelecom
OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2012. Sviaz-Bank acted as paying agent authorized by Rostelecom OJSC to pay interest on the tenth coupon of the company’s Series 13 bonds, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.
The bondholders are paid coupon interest at a rate of 6.5% per annum, or 16 rubles 21 kopecks per security. The Bank paid out 6,166,955 rubles 31 kopecks in total interest after tax.
Rostelecom OJSC offered its Series 13 issue on February 15, 2011, by converting Series BO-01 bonds of the Southern Telecommunications Company, OJSC, following its takeover by Rostelecom OJSC.
The Southern Telecommunications Company, OJSC, offered its three-year Series BO-01 bond issue on October 21, 2009, to raise 2 billion rubles. Sviaz-Bank acted as managing underwriter and placement agent for the issue.
