OREANDA-NEWS. April 26, 2012. This was spoken about during a phone dialogue between Premier of Moldova Vladimir Filat and head of Transdniestria Evgeny Shevchuk. According to them, all preparatory woks have been completed and on April, 26 the first fright train is leaving the railway station of Ribnita in Transdniestria to run directly through the territory of Transdniestria instead of bypassing road through the north of Moldova.

Vladimir Filat and Evgeny Shevchuk discussed the whole number of matters concerning Transdniestrian settlement and specific aspects of the dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol. Premier of Moldova Vladimir Filat and head of Transdniestria Evgeny Shevchuk endorsed the protocol agreement to recommence the full-fledged railway transportation through the territory of Transdniestria on March, 30. According to it, the parties agreed to create two customs control zones at railway stations of Benderi -2 and Varnita.

On the parity basis at these zones joint customs checkpoints were agreed to be organized where the one-window principle would be followed to save time for customs clearance. The parties together with expert groups and invited independent insurers worked out matters concerning of trains and cargo protection and a reciprocal payments procedure. To ensure traffic safety the parties developed a technology of the joint control over components of the road infrastructure.

The document stipulates Chisinau and Tiraspol will avoid unilateral actions hampering implementation of organizing, technical and other aspects. This mechanism of cargo transportation recommencement is planned to function within 6 months and can be prolonged if the parties agree. Vladimir Filat and Evgeny Shevchuk noted earlier that the decision to recommence the full-fledged railway communication through Trandsniesria was mutually beneficial for both parties and would provide economic agents and people from both banks of the Dniester with normal life conditions.
