Turkmenistan and Ukraine to Enhance Intergovernmental Cooperation
OREANDA-NEWS. April 25, 2012. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Yuri Boyko.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine conveyed the best wishes to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the people of Turkmenistan on behalf of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich, who underlined the importance of comprehensive deepening of the intergovernmental cooperation built on the long-term mutually beneficial basis.
Thanking for the kind words, the Turkmen leader conveyed the best wishes to his Ukrainian colleague underlining that Turkmenistan, in its turn, had paid significant attention to strengthening the Turkmen-Ukrainian relations that had been successfully developed on the bilateral and multilateral basis – within the framework of the authoritative international and regional organisations.
Exchanging the views on the prospects for widening traditional cooperation established within the last years in all key spheres, the President of Turkmenistan and the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine underlined with satisfaction the huge potential supported by the great experience of the joint fruitful work, the mutual will and keen interest of the parties in increasing the efficient cooperation given the priorities of the state development of the two countries.
The President of Turkmenistan and his guest discussed, in particular, the possibilities of implementing new joint projects aimed at strengthening the traditional ties of friendship and fraternity that bound the people of Turkmenistan and Ukraine.
