OREANDA-NEWS. April 25, 2012.  The power industry specialists undertake to ensure reliable electric power supply to the Metropolitanate establishments and facilities located within Novgorodenergo responsibility zone


The Valday Iversky Svyatoozersky Virgin Monastery (Novgorod Region) has hosted the solemn ceremony of signature of a Cooperation Agreement between Novgorodenergo branch of IDGC of the North-west and the Novgorod Metropolitanate of the Russian Orthodox Church. On behalf of the power industry company branch the document was signed by Director of Novgorodenergo Vladimir Chistyakov, on behalf of the Novgorod Metropolitanate – by Veliky Novgorod and Staraya Russa Metropolite Lev.

The agreement determines the parties’ main interaction forms including: participation of representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church in events organized by Novgorodenergo, support of Novgorodenergo renovation and innovation programs inclusive of those aimed at reduction of electric energy losses and theft, organization of religious awareness raising meeting of the Metropolitanate representatives with Novgorodenergo staff, preparation and arrangement of joint actions of patriotic, humanitarian and charitable character.

The power industry specialists undertake to ensure reliable electric power supply to the Metropolitanate establishments and facilities located within Novgorodenergo responsibility zone, elaborate an energy-efficient church design, organize joint technological connection of the Metropolitanate establishments to electric power grid complex facilities.
