OREANDA-NEWS. April 25, 2012. Today Baku is hosting a business meeting between Azerbaijani and Kurgan region’s businessmen.

In the course of the meeting Deputy Economic Development Minister of Azerbaijan Niyazi Safarov has reported that relations between Azerbaijan and Russia constantly develop in all directions and trade turnover volume annually increases between the countries.

" It should also be noted that last years relations between Azerbaijan and constituent units of Russian Federation are actively developing ",- N. Safarov said.

In turn , deputy governor of Kurgan region Vasiliy Jalov said that following the meetings in 3 days the sides achieved preliminary agreement on many issues.

" Unfortunately not many Azerbaijani businessmen have been to Kurgan region and are familiar with its potential. We are currently ready to start specific discussions on specific directions ",- V. Jalov said.

The meeting was attended by over 40 businessmen from such spheres, as machine building, health, construction, industry, finance, logistics from Azerbaijani side.
