OREANDA-NEWS. April 25, 2012. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the procedure and terms providing in 2012 of subvention from the state budget to local budgets for the purchase of medical equipment of a domestic production. The corresponding resolution has been adopted by the Government at session.

According to the Government’s decision, this subvention will be directly managed by the local authorities. Herewith, the Ministry of Health should provide methodological assistance and recommendations for necessary equipment parameters.

It is a matter of the buying mammography, X-ray equipment and ultrasonic diagnostics machines. At the same time, it is prohibited to target funds for the purchase of medical equipment, expenses for which the State Budget under other budget programs has been provided.
After completion, the Cabinet of Ministers is to determine the order and terms of subventions from the state budget to local budgets for the implementation of measures for socio-economic development of territories. Moreover, the Government will use the same principle and provide the right to dispose of subventions to local governments.
