OREANDA-NEWS. April 24, 2012. EuroChem, in association with The College – a UK-based international corporate communications agency, hosted a seminar on the promotion of corporate social responsibility and reporting.

Leading Russian and British experts exchanged professional views and experience, discussed practices and prospects for sustainable development, social responsibility and reporting in Russian and British companies.

The seminar was held in London on April 20 with the participation of senior executives of CorporateRegister.com, the world’s largest online register of social and environmental reporting, Great Circle, the leading environmental sustainability consulting firm, and Ethix SRI Advisors, an adviser to institutional investors in the area of sustainable and responsible investment.

The Russian delegates included leading expert organizations in the area of social responsibility and reporting – the Centre of Social Corporate Responsibility and Non-Financial Accounting of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Noncommercial partnership of grant-giving organizations “Donors Forum”, and the Agency for Social Information.

The event was organized in order to promote sustainable development, social responsibility and reporting practices of Russian companies abroad, as well as to facilitate the exchange of professional experience and expertise between Russian and international CSR specialists.
