Ingosstrakh Provided Insurance for Hazardous Facilities in Buryatia
OREANDA-NEWS. April 24, 2012. The branch of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company in Ulan-Ude has entered into 18 new contracts of compulsory third party liability insurance for owners of hazardous facilities for damage resulting from hazardous facilities’ average pursuant to Federal Law No. 225-FZ dated July 27, 2010, which came into effect on January 1, 2012, reported the press-centre of Ingosstrakh.
The contracts have been enclosed with major manufacturers of the Buryat Republic owing hazardous production facilities subject to compulsory insurance. The total sum insured by the contract amounts to 180 mln roubles.
In total, since early 2012 the branch has concluded more than 60 CTPL contracts for the owners of hazardous facilities with manufacturers operating in the Buryat Republic and beyond its scope. The total sum insured amounts to 655 mln roubles.
Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has over 13 years of experience in public liability insurance of organizations running hazardous production facilities to the extent permitted by the existing law; it is a member of the National Union of Liability Insurers. Over the first three month of operation of Federal Law No. 225 dated July 27, 2010, Ingosstrakh issued more than 4.5 thousand policies providing the insured parties with reliable protection against contingencies in case of emergency at the place of production.
