OREANDA-NEWS. April 24, 2012. The Legal 500 has now launched its 2012 rankings for law firms in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. SORAINEN has again confirmed its ranking as a 1st tier adviser in all researched categories in Estonia, Latvia and Belarus and remains a leading adviser in Lithuania, reported the press-centre of SORAINEN.

In Estonia and Latvia , SORAINEN has maintained its top tier position thanks to service excellence in banking and finance, corporate and M&A, dispute resolution, EU and competition, IP, IT and telecoms, shipping and transport, real estate and construction, and tax.

The SORAINEN Lithuanian office is ranked as a 1st tier adviser in corporate and M&A, banking and finance, shipping and transport, and tax, and as a 2nd tier adviser in dispute resolution, EU and competition, intellectual property, real estate and construction, and TMT.

The SORAINEN Belarusian office has also kept its 1st tier position in the local market, a position achieved last year only three years after the office was established. The Legal 500 comments that Maksim Salahub, a partner with SORAINEN, is a "good player with experience in cross-border transactions, and great with foreign investors".

In the 2012 rankings, The Legal 500 refers to SORAINEN with an acknowledgment that the firm "sees opportunities where other law firms do not", "information flows well within its teams", and is also "very client-oriented and experienced".
